Why we started WaeWork
We started WaeWork after watching good hires fall apart over things that had nothing to do with skill: a payment that never arrived on time, a hire nobody could verify, a dispute with no neutral party to call.
It felt like a solvable problem.
So we built the protections we wished existed: identity verification on both sides, payment held and released on a schedule that matches how the work actually happens, and a support team that mediates fairly when something goes wrong.
WaeWork is built by WAE (We Are Everywhere), a company focused on making it easy and safe to hire and work across borders. A marketplace that's genuinely worldwide, not restricted to any single region on either side.

Identity verification on both sides
Every hirer and every Talent Partner is verified through Stripe Identity before they can post a role or apply to one, so you always know who you're working with.

Payment held and released on a schedule that matches the work
Funds are held via Stripe Connect. On an ongoing Team Extension they release every 15 days, partial at day 15 and the rest at day 30. On project-based work, release is tied to agreed milestones.

Support that mediates fairly
If a hirer and a Talent Partner disagree on delivered work, our support team mediates fairly for both sides. Everyone on WaeWork is covered, and it is not a deduction against either party.
